The discussion about Elden Ring has been hot and heavy since its release weeks ago. With developers from Horizon and Ubisoft and others, jumping in, arguing about its UI, quests and other elements of its design.

The patch includes a large number of fixes as well as adjustments to the game including'
Additional Elements Added
Added a function to record an icon and the name of an NPC on the map when you encounter that NPC.
Added NPC Jar-Bairn.
Added new quest phases for the following NPCs: Diallos/ Nepheli Loux/ Kenneth Haight/ Gatekeeper Gostoc.
Added some summonable NPCs in multiple situations.
Increased the number of patterns of objects player can imitate when using Mimic’s Veil.
Added night background music for some open field areas
Elden Rings'NPCs NPCs structure for questing and marking spots in the map has been a hot topic for gamers with anger on both sides about how a game should track or not track NPC's and quests. When the patch went live Twitter was active with people saying it was "pandering" and others saying it was a "much-needed improvement".
